The parsley poked up first yesterday. I cleared the leaves and pulled some dead tomato vines. Today three broccoli shoots made their way up, as well as another parsley shoot. After last year's successes, we're repeating spinach, tomatoes, and carrots (see Dancing Queen). This year we're adding broccoli, sugar snaps and green beans. We started watermelons on the porch in April. None survived the transplant. Better luck in March?
