I'm not Barbara Kingsolver, but this Carrot was good

This year we started our first vegtable garden. We've had more than a couple of spinach salads and have been tapping our toes for the tomatoes and carrots. We planted the carrots tightly and as they've grown, we've gradually thinned. This has given an opportunity to check on size almost daily.

As each tiny newcomer reaches our table, we've gently washed, surgically sliced and held thanksgiving.
